VFE started the first project in Toa Tinh nursery school

On March 20, VFE kicked off our first project in Toa Tinh nursery school in Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province. The project in Toa Tinh nursery school includes three assembled classrooms (36 m2/room), a teacher room (18 m2), a sanitary room and a kitchen. The total value of sponsorship is more than four hundred million Vietnam dong. Besides the above items, VFE also finances materials to build a new small road leading Toa Tinh nursery school (1m wide, 89m long, 15cm thick). The present road is very small and rugged road. The new road will help kids and even parents are easier to take kids to the school.

Along with support from VFE, the local community also commits to express their responsibilities in the project. Parents and teachers did the clearance works and built the new road with support from some workers of the contractor. And after completing the project, the school will take care of all the buildings. The school also commit to growing some trees, set up a garden to grow vegetables in the school ground. Moreover, the head of Toa Tinh nursery school, the head of Education and Training Division of Tuan Giao district and the head of Toa Tinh commune also directly joined with us in the project. This shows that the community is highly responsible and very serious about the project.

The project will finish on 28 March 2018. Soon, kids will have new studying condition. And we are looking forward to the inauguration ceremony of Toa Tinh nursery school.
